ANSVSA grants exemptions for the entry of pets from Israel into Romania

Given the exceptional conditions generated by the situation in Israel and in order to prevent possible difficulties related to the arrival of refugees accompanied by pets, we inform you that, in accordance with Article 32 of Regulation (EU) No.
5762013 on the derogation from the standard conditions applicable to the non-commercial movement of pet animals, Romania authorizes the non-commercial movement of pet animals on its territory as follows: animals that meet the conditions for entry into the EU (identified, vaccinated, withor without antibody titer) will be allowed entry; for animals that are not properly identified with a microchiptattoo or are not vaccinated against rabies or the vaccination is no longer valid, the responsible person will complete the Pet Location Form, a press release from ANSVSA mentions, agerpres reports.
